President Don Redman presented a check for $600 to the Elementary School. Accepting the donation is Principal Luke Reynolds and counselor Katherine Allen. The funds were raised through the sale of luminaries at our Old Fashioned Christmas event held on December 7, 2024. There is a great need this year and we are so thankful that we could help because of the generosity the community displayed by purchasing the luminaries! Thank you!
In January, The Marlette Historical Society received a grant to purchase the equipment and supplies needed to catalog and digitize the collections in the Marlette Train Depot Museum. We have has completed the purchase of this equipment and are starting the project. This will be an ongoing and long term project.
